The Video Alex Jeffreys Never Made But Wanted To : Starring Alex Jeffreys!

Its taken me all weekend, but now I’m really excited as I’ve just uploaded my YouTube Video Entry for Alex Jeffreys 2009 Video Competition :). A Total of $3000 is up for grabs ($1500 for most creative ,and another $1500 for the one that drives the most traffic:) The competition is open to all his coaching students (about 500) - and here are the Criteria that need to be met to be eligible to win

In this video, you’ll see I Managed to film Alex sharing some words of wisdom. Hope you enjoy it Anyways check it, and let me know what you think in the comments below:

Bloody bonkers. Well done. How did you do the mouth thing? Only (-) comment and no biggie, 2 mins is better than 5

But great idea and BTW I love this blog layout. The double column on the homepage is cool. How did you come up with that?

  Thanks for your comments - yeah. Agree with ya on the time thing got a bit carried away impersonating Alex hehe. .
  
  About the mouth thing. basically. . just found a photo of Alex Jeffreys, and used photoshop to cut out his mouth (using some feathering as well so it blends in with my skin :). . then recorded me talking with the camera shooting mostly just my mouth. . I then positioned my mouth behind alex’s photo and WALAH! after a bit of moving my mouth around and resizing, it fit in. Although you have to be very still when you talk, as you may have noticed my nose sneaked into shot a couple of times
  
  Thanks re: blog layout. . been researching for quite a while, and there’s still lots to do in refining it. . basically I’ve managed to do the double column by buying a professional wordpress theme from woothemes - they have about 21 themes available at the moment and four of them are free - check out my post on my review of the 3 pro wordpress themes here

Awesome Derrick,

You ‘kiiled’ it! I love it.
It is though bloody scary to watch ‘Alex’ on the video!
Funny stuff, but with good content.

I don’t even have a clue how to attempt anything like that., have not messed with video at all.

Great video, I just put mine up within the last hour. It’s, well lets say a little bit different. Out videos have something in common. We both used the same picture of Alex in the frog hat. See if you can see it in my video.

  Hey thanks, Yeah. . agree. there were many other things I wanted to do to enhance it, but in the interests of time and not submitting to my perfectionist ways. . I decided to just get it out there and work on other projects. . but making the video as short as possible will definitely be my priority next time :). .
